In this short workshop, we will get acquainted with the basic technical skills for doing live streaming. Programs and technical demands for simple video streaming using two cameras will be presented. Each participant will live-stream a short video on his/her Facebook profile or on Twitch, a live streaming platform for gamers.
The participants are required to have portable computers with Windows or macOS operating systems installed and a minimum of one or two standalone web cameras. If the participants haven’t got any of those, then they need to have a mobile phone. Live streaming programs are free of charge and can be downloaded during the workshop.
The workshop will be run by Miha Predoš.
Miha Predoš was born in 1990. He has dealt in different video editions, ethnographic films and documentaries for the last fifteen years. He works as a journalist on the current politics desk on Radio Študent but is otherwise employed as a freelancer in the field of visual arts.
